2022 New Year, New Opportunities to grow

2022 is here and with it comes the chance to grasp the full opportunites that it brings.
The UK hospitality industry should do very well this year, with the uncertainty about going abroad and the inherent risks of doing so, due to vacination levels in other countries and the political and social unrest that comes after such widespread lock downs and enforcements.

We are in a very strong possition to take our businesses to the next level with more and more people staycationing in the UK.

Improve your offering by giving discounts for longer stays, contact all your previous guests and tell them about the precautions you have in place and all the attractions that are open for business in your area.

Always remember that businesses grow by getting the "supply and demand" pricing correct. When supply is low and demand is high, which is what is happening with world gas prices at the moment, then prices must rise.

I am not saying that you have to rip people off, I saying that you should not undersell your rooms or products, you are in business, nomatter how small and you need to make a profit. We need to recoup our losses increased through lock and through no fault of our own.

Be prepared, plan for success and you will be successful, don't plan and you are likely to fail or not reach your full potential, without even knowing it.
